So, What is an ArmMap?
An ArmMap, simply put, is a ski map that you wear, well, on your arm. It's designed to be always in view, incredibly durable, and perfectly readable, so that you never loose your spot on the mountain again.
Whether your a Green, Blue, or Black Diamond skier, the ArmMap is an invaluable alternative to the traditional 2ft-by-3ft paper map that you get for free. The ArmMap is waterproof, tearproof, and bearproof, so you can keep on skiing, without worrying about where to go next. Just look down.
Tough? How tough?
We're in Florida, so we can't strap on a GoPro and wipeout a few times to show you how tough the ArmMap is (yet). So, we decided to improvise and have some guy hit it with a sledgehammer. That's the video to the left.
Hey, we don't have snow, and skiing on grass would have gotten us some pretty weird looks around here...
What does it look like?
Ta-da. It's an ArmMap, a coil to keep it on your arm, and the tube it comes inside of (which makes for a great monocle). That's it. No construction, no screws, just a simple solution that stays together while you ski like a madman. We'd be willing to bet it would even survive one of these guys crashing (but we haven't tested that yet).
